Terms and Conditions
By accepting the services of Sparkclean Professional Cleaning Pty Ltd, the customer is bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please take some time to review this agreement, as use of our cleaning services constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Agreement.
Cancellation Policy:
- Once you’ve made an appointment with Sparkclean Professional Cleaning Pty Ltd we have now reserved that appointment time exclusively and respectively for you.
If you cancel less than twelve (12) hours from your appointment day you will be charged 100% (in full) the amount of your agreed rate for the cancelled appointment.
If you cancel less than twenty-four (24) hours from your appointment day you will be charged 50% (in full) the amount of your agreed rate for the cancelled appointment. - We kindly ask for a 48 hours notice of cancellation or preferably the most notice you can provide once you know you will not be able to keep the appointment time. We are happy to accommodate you with a rescheduled appointment however that will be subject to availability.
Cleaning Services:
- The Service will be for such cleaning duties as agreed between you and Sparkclean Cleaning Service Provider at the time of booking.
- In majority of cases, all cleaning products and equipment required to service your property are provided by Sparkclean Professional Cleaning Pty Ltd/Staff unless agreed otherwise.
- If, at any time prior to or during your service, if our Staff feels there is a safety issue, at their discretion, they can terminate the service. You will be informed of this as soon as possible.
- As part of our social media updates, our team may take some videos/photos of the work they are undergoing. Rest assured, there will be no confidential documents or photos in these images. Please contact us if you wish to NOT have your home on our socials.
- The responsibility of parking is up to the customer. Our cleaners require parking for the entirety of your clean. If no free parking is available, either on the street, on the property, or in your building, the customer will need to cover the cost of paid parking. Please advise of this upfront when making your booking, so the cost of parking can be factored into the pricing.
- The home will not be 100% perfect after the first visit to your property. It often takes up to 6 visits to get it up to the "Sparkclean" standard.
- IF keys are provided to the Sparkclean team, it is the clients responsibility to ensure they have informed the office. When the office receives their key, it will be numbered and safely stored in the key lock box and only accessed by authorised personal.
- Sparkclean assumes no responsibility for the loss or misplacement of keys.
Customer Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe working environment for the Sparkclean to perform the Service;
- Inability to Access Property: If our cleaning team is unable to access the property at the scheduled cleaning time, we reserve the right to charge a full fee for the scheduled service. It is your responsibility to ensure that our team can access the property, including providing keys or access codes as necessary. If you need to reschedule your cleaning appointment due to issues with access to the property, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
- Leave access unobstructed to those areas of the Property requiring the Service; Inability to perform the scope of works set out in the agreement due to the work place being obstructed we reserve the right to refuse the work and a call out fee will be charged at ($88 inc gst) to cover the cost of the cleaners time to arrive at the site.
- Provide Sparkclean access to all service utilities (including hot and cold water, electricity, and rubbish bins) as required to complete the Service;
- Prior to the commencement of the Service, inform our Staff of any hazards, slippery surfaces, risks or dangers you’re aware of.
- Sparkclean assumes no responsibilities of any animals or pets. It is up to the client to ensure all pets are safely secured during our visit.
Payment Terms:
- The Customer agrees to pay at the completion of service.
- Payment can be made by credit card with the balance to be paid on completion of the service. Or by invoice sent to your email address, payment must be made on receipt.
- All prices quoted include GST.
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking for a Spring Clean, End of Lease or Move Out Clean. Please note your booking will only be confirmed after deposit is made and pre-approval is submitted.
- In the event of service cancellations and refunds, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) is not included in the refunded amount. The refund will be based on the original service cost before GST was applied.
- Credit card payments will incur a surcharge.
- Tax Invoices are available for all services carried out by Sparkclean Professional Cleaning.
- The Customer agrees to the quote provided for ongoing weekly and fortnightly bookings, if the service is cancelled within the first month, the Customer will be invoiced for the difference at our once off rates.
- The prices quoted for regular clean and casual clean are for only one Cleaner. When Sparkclean allocates a team of two Cleaners to a booking the time will be halved; for example when a team of two Cleaners allocated for a six hour clean will be completed in three hours. Each Cleaner having worked three hours and the cost will be same as per one Cleaner.
- Price Increases: Clients are given advance notice of any price increases. Sparkclean Professional Cleaning reserves right to raise prices at any time.
- Late payment fees may be chargeable for overdue invoices up to the discretion of Sparkclean. Recovery Fees can may also be chargeable. The late payment fee is $50 per invoice that is late by 7 days, and after every 7 days a further $50 fee will be added.
Changes to Scopes of Works:
- Any changes to the Service originally agreed to between your Sparkclean Professional Cleaning Pty Ltd/Staff and yourself must be advised to the bookings team and the price agreed on prior to the service commencing.
- Sparkclean will not be held liable for any out of scope request by the client.
No Engagement Of Cleaners:
- The Customer acknowledges Sparkclean Professional Cleaning Pty Ltd invests significant resources in recruiting, selecting and training its Cleaners. Unless Sparkclean Professional Cleaning gives prior written permission, the Customer must not, directly or indirectly, engage, employ or contract with any Cleaner to provide domestic services to the Customer or any associate of the customer for any period during which services are provided by Sparkclean Professional Cleaning or for a period within 12 months after the conclusion of any Service. The Customer acknowledges that Sparklcean Professional Cleaning may suffer loss and damage, including, without limitation consequential loss, as a result of a breach of this clause by the Customer.
- If there has been an offer made to the cleaner or engagement of cleaner, a placement fee will be applicable and invoiced.
Accidents, Breakage, Damage & Theft
- For any delicate surfaces such as stone, tiles, baths, floors or appliances - it is up to the client to provide appropriate cleaning products to use. Whilst Sparkclean uses conventional cleaning products, if it is a delicate surface, some products may cause damage. It is up to the client to notify Sparkcean of any delicate surfaces and to provide appropriate product.
- The Customer must inform Sparkclean or its Staff of any incident where an accident, breakage, damage to property within 12 hours of completion of the Service.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Customer is not entitled to claim any loss for any incident if the incident is not reported to Sparkclean Professional Cleaning Pty Ltd or its Staff within 12 hours of completion of the Service.
- In the case of a complaint, Sparkclean Professional Cleaning requires to be notified within 12 hours after completion of the cleaning work.
- All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed. Items excluded from liability are: cash, items of sentimental value, art and antiques.
End of Lease Cleans:
- We quote on a per-hour basis.
- Although we make every attempt to provide the most accurate quote based on the details provided to us, it may be necessary that we alter your quote upon inspection if: The state of the property is not as expected, If your original requirements have changed or were incorrectly provided, If there are variations to the condition or size compared to standard room specifications.
- Quote is only an estimate, once we arrive onsite please note that we may need more time approved to complete the job. These jobs are intricately detailed. We recommend cleaning insides of cupboards/wardrobes yourself if you wanted to reduce the overall cost.
- If extra time is NOT approved, Sparkclean Professional Cleaning Pty Ltd will not be held liable for withholding of bond. We are happy to return on a per hour basis to fix any real estate agent requests.
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking for an End of Lease or Move Out Clean.
- We know that moving can be tough and a few pieces of trash may be left behind. We completely understand. However, if our cleaners find that your property requires a trip to the bin, we charge an extra fee for the service.
GIFT CARD / VOUCHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
These terms apply to each Gift Card as if the Gift Voucher Recipient was the person who ordered and paid for the Gift Card.
- Each Gift Card entitles the Gift Card Recipient to a single General Clean in one session:
- At one Premises
- For the number of cleaner working hours specified in the Gift Card;
- Ordered by the Gift Card Recipient within 1 years after the date of issue of the Gift Card.
- Each Gift Card entitles the Gift Card Recipient to a General Clean. Alternatively, the value of the Gift Voucher may be applied, at the request of the Gift Card Recipient, towards the cost quoted by us for:
- A Move In Clean;
- A Spring Clean; or
- An End of Lease Clean.
- If you book a longer clean, we will invoice you the remainder. Prices are listed on our services page.
- Gift Card can only be redeemed by the Gift Card Recipient calling or emailing us to order provision of Services.
- Until they are redeemed, Gift Vouchers are transferrable by Gift Voucher Recipients to other persons.
- All Services are provided subject to our general terms of business, published on the Sparkclean Professional Cleaning Pty Ltd website.

How does your pricing work?
Our hourly rate is charged per cleaner, per hour.
This price is generally quoted to include GST.
We normally work in a team of 2 or more.
And each man hour is charged for the time we spend cleaning.
As an example, if you book a 3 hour clean and there are 2 cleaners who come to your home, each cleaner will work for 1 hour and 30 minutes each, a total of 3 hours.
How many cleaners attend the job?
We normally work in a team of 2 cleaners for regular cleaning.
When we have a request for a spring clean, or end of lease clean you can normally expect 3 or more cleaners who attend.
Will the same cleaners come each time?
We always try to send the same team each visit. This ensures consistency and peace of mind.
However there may be unforeseen circumstances that prevent this from happening, such as illness, planned holidays or emergencies.
Please rest assured we have highly trained staff, coupled with good customer notes on each specific job, so if there is a last minute change we do minimise any difference by ensuring our procedures are correctly followed.
Do I need to be home when you attend?
No, you do not need to be at home.
But please make sure that you discuss a safe way for us to enter your home.
We do have a key numbering system to ensure we keep your home key safe and secure should you decide to leave us with a key to enter your home.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully insured by public liability and workers cover.
Do I need to provide any products and equipment?
No, you dont need to provide any of this.
Our cleaners will bring with them all the products and equipment to perform the job.
Our rags and mop heads are never re-used from job to job. Thats a BIG no, no for us.
We bag up our dirty rags and mops and they are all hot washed and hot dried daily. Ensuring we only bring into your home clean material to use.
If you have a specific product request or delicate material in your home such as marble, you should ensure this is disclosed during your booking process so that our teams are aware of this and can care for your home in the best possible way.
What products do you use?
We have a range of quality products and most of these are 99% environmentally and allergy friendly.
We do use bleach and oven cleaner, on occasion and only where necessary, and utmost care is always given when using this chemical.
We also use essential oils in some of our products and air freshner to compliment our harmonious finish.
Do you perform background checks on your staff?
All of our team members have gone through our employment checks, references and have national police checks. We go above and beyond to ensure the staff that enter your home are trustworthy and ethical on top of being a talented cleaner.
What if i need to cancel my clean?
Please contact the office as soon as possible and provide us with as much notice as possible!
